CHICAGO & DOOBIES KNOW HOW TO DO IT RIGHT!
I expected a 16 members age of the 9 Chicago? 7 Laundry Day? would lessen impact realizing there are probably at least a couple of younger replacements of the original casts from 40 years ago!
I WAS WRONG! If you like Rock & Roll -- you will LOVE this concert!
While maybe a couple voices aren't what they used to be -- THE SHOWMANSHIP; THE MUSICIANSHIP W/ THEIR INSTRUMENTS; THE STAGING; THE SOUND & LIGHTING SYSTEM QUALITY; ALL WAS TRULY AMAZING!
I expected a 4-star performance nonetheless. If you like Rock & Roll -- you will LOVE this concert!
I had seen Chicago twice in the 70s; Laundry Day once about 10 years ago. They not only have not lost a step w/ age, they have truly grown in their chosen profession. If you like Rock & Roll -- you will LOVE this concert!
I am a Christian Contemporary Music Leader. Let me tell you, these 2 groups & their teams that back them up to set-up, sound check, tune, etc., KNOW HOW TO DO IT RIGHT. I go not just for the pleasure -- but to see how "it" all is done right.
